Kyrenia Castle Museums

Kyrenia Castle is an important defensive structure built during the Byzantine period and later developed during the Venetian and Ottoman periods. With its thick walls, bastions, and commanding position overlooking the sea, it reflects medieval military architecture and historically served as a strategic center protecting Kyrenia Harbor. Today, the castle is one of the most significant historical landmarks of Cyprus, holding great touristic value with its museums, interior spaces, and well-preserved historical fabric.
